Lovely walk with Daughter and dogs this morning. As it was so lovely we feared the beach might be busy.
I don't know where the dogs are in that picture. Chasing seagulls probably. The birds do tease them. Oh yes, I must tell you about the seagull that Daughter spotted. It was flying quite high with something in its mouth that it dropped. It flew down and pecked at the something - a closed shell maybe - then picked it up and flew off again. It repeated this action, obviously without any success. I said, "You need to drop it on rocks," and it appeared to have heard me as it began to fly towards the cliff. But no, it dropped it above the sand again. But this time it swooped down and caught it before it landed. We wondered why and then Daughter spotted another seagull flying close by. Our seagull wasn't going to risk anyone else getting his 'prey'.When I got home Husband suggested a walk along the promenade and then Verdi's for lunch. He said I deserved a treat for looking after him but I think it was because of the six gro-bags at the top of the steps in the front of the house that needed carrying around to the back, up more steps, to the greenhouse.
My hazelnut basket sundae was yummy whatever the reason. And we took a little stroll to the pier. The pier itself is still closed and the arcade is still being rebuilt after a fire. But the Big Wheel is there and they've brought in another ride and some dodgems. Turn your back for an instant and they change things.
Back for a read and doze in the garden before shifting said gro-bags and pottering about a bit. Another one of my problems is that I over-estimate my strength. I'll be fine I'm sure.

It sounds and looks like you are experiencing decent weather.
Oh yes, that beach is packed, PACKED, lol!
That gull will learn, I'm sure.
The weather is set to change, sadly, so make the most of it while you can.
