Other women glow after exercise; I turn a redder shade of red.
And this was after I'd driven home with the window open.My current TBR pile.
I have opted for historical this time and chosen Tidelands by Philippa Gregory, having just finished Earthly Possessions by Anne Tyler. Now the excitement of doing the Sainsburys order. Toddle-oo.

I found Tidelands sooooo slooooow. Well written but endless. And I think there are more volumes! I do like Gregory though.
I liked Flight of the Falcon, the only book in your pile which I have read.
I like Anne Tyler. As for looking red, so what!
I read a bunch of Anne Tyler's novels in the early 90s but I don't think I read that one. Her dysfunctional characters were always fascinating until they achieved mental/emotional healing, and then they became terribly dull.
Nothing wrong with some red in your face. It means you're alive. I've read a lot of Anne Tyler's books, including Earthly Possessions. She's one of my favorite authors. Her masterpiece is Dinner At the Homesick Restaurant. The Accidental Tourist is sad and funny at the same time. They're are my two favorite Tyler novels.
Love,

Looks like you had a good workout.
It would take me forever to read that stack of books.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who turns a redder shade of red after some exercise. I love that stack of books, my TBR pile is huge and distributed all around the bookcases. I daren't stack them up, it will make me realise how many there are of them.
I've been enjoying Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont per your recommendation per Boud's recommendation.
I'm half Asian. I turn red if I drink alcohol.
Exercise makes you glow.
