Clouds and hours

The trouble with not being a cryer is that sometimes one needs the release of cloudburst - and it won't. Instead it hovers there, smirking to itself, prolonging the storm. No, not a storm. A storm would happen and pass, and the sky would be bright again. This cloud would barely register on a barometer.

Enough of the weather forecast analogies.

Cake to make today. Article to finish, and jigsaw to work on. (Because what better to take one's mind off the cloud than to engross it in a jigsaw?) Hopefully will do some gardening too.

Has anyone watched The Hour on Netflix? It's based around the first trail-blazing BBC current affairs programme in the 1950s, with the first series featuring the war in Suez and spies. What could and couldn't be said, government interference, and secrets all over the place. Jolly good and excellent atmosphere and music.

I will have a look at 'The Hour' and I hope the cloud soon lifts.

I remember after Suez in 1956, there was an uptick in emigration, including some of my relatives. But are least it saw off Eden.

I am always looking for new shows. Hope the storm doesn't have more rain then Storm Debbie!

I tend to be a cryer. Not so anyone can see me but when I'm alone. Then I get over it and move on.
