Springsteen, Husband and me

Nearly fell off my chair with excitement this morning when I read on Twitter that Bruce Springsteen is appearing in Cardiff next May. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10.00 a.m. I will be in Zac's but I'm afraid prepping food will have to take a back seat while I try to get tickets. (Where are my priorities?!)

I told Husband, "Springsteen's in Cardiff next May!"
"I don't want to go."

I am buying tickets regardless even though I know he will sit there looking like a grumpy old man while I am up and dancing.

Hah! I think I would think it would be a funny juxtaposition to have a photo of you dancing with hubby with a dour, grumpy “old man” expression in the background if you do acquire tickets!

I was a bit surprised you especially like Bruce Springsteen. I did not think he was particularly popular outside of the U.S. Here is a question for you….. my perennial FAVORITE group to see in concert happens to be Chicago. I have seen them in person four times. Is Chicago a popular group in England? The other group I have seen multiple times is Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young ( or a partial grouping of them…. 3 times total)…. are they popular in England? The other concerts (only a “few” others that I have seen have all been one time only.

Or you could always let husband stay home and take someone else :)

Me too, Debra. Actually any seats will please me!
Chicago and CSN&Y aren't particularly big here whereas Springsteen is, PipeTobacco.
I said that, Ann!

Concert tickets are too expensive for me nowadays. E.g. Stones now cost 3 to even 4 digits.
