Rhubarb and chocolate

This morning I have created a poster for the next clothes sale at Zac's and trawled the internet for local community groups to send it to. Having decided that lack of publicity was the problem last time I hope we're more successful this time.

I've also made rhubarb and chocolate blondies. It was meant to be white choc but i only had milk and I've never used the recipe before so we'll see how they turn out.

And I've reached the end of my work-in-progress. Up till now I've been adding and editing bits; I'm going to have start new writing next. But I think that's a job for tomorrow as the sun is shining and I might just go and lie in it and read for a bit. It has to be warmer outside than it is here as I've freezing indoors!

Unfortunately I realised last night after I'd started reading it that I've read one of my library books before. I have another one left to begin though. (And inevitably I see clouds appearing outside as I think about going out.)

I've had a lot of those days lately where it's warmer outside than it is in my house.

How did the blondies turn out? I'm not a big fan of rhubarb, but everything is better if you add chocolate to it.

Kathy, okay, I think I over-cooked them slightly but they tasted nice.
