I keep thinking it's Saturday

Husband had an appointment with the heart consultant this morning. He's now borderline moderate severe meaning he'll need a valve replacement sometime in the future. Not yet but he'll have six-monthly echo-cardiograms to monitor progress.

It continues to be minor heatwave weather. I could get used to this but I think storms are forecast for next week.

Meanwhile my squash plant is quietly making progress in its attempt to take over the garden.

This one is about 4".

And here George sits and waits, trying by the power of his mind to force the food bag to burst open.

It looks as if the car's in danger of invasion, too.

You remind me of the corny old joke:
Two hippos in a swamp. One turns to the other and says, Harry, I keep on thinking it's Tuesday.

Your mini is a pretty color! Is it a manual or automatic? Sadly here in the US it is awfully damn hard (near impossible) to get a manual transmission anymore. It took me around 6 months to find one in my current vehicle (15 years old) and I am on the search for a replacement….. going on four months so far…. I am determined to get a manual…. and a fair price to boot!

I am sorry your husband will need a heart valve surgery eventually.

It looks like George is feeling well today. Did the vet change a medicine for him?

I still love that joke, Boud!

Manual, Pipetobacco. I think most cars here still are. George has some extra medicine and we can increase the dose on his current so here's hoping.
