I'm trying to remember what I've done this week.
Monday: a horrible day weatherwise but a lovely day grandchildren-wise. It was GrandDaughter2's sixth birthday so we called in to deliver presents and eat cake. Our main present to her was a pogo stick. I had a go on it and fell off immediately.
Tuesday: spent some time with GrandDaughter3, visiting the park and playing in the garden. Zac's bible study.
Wednesday: Walked George. Took Alfie Porsche for his MOT followed by Botanic Gardens visit. (See previous post.) Followed by bad welding news about Alfie meaning we won't get him back until next week. Cake-making.
Thursday: Delivered food to Zac's then collected Younger Son to take him for his first vaccination. (He is carless.) Listened in car to squad announcement for the Lions rugby tour of South Africa. (Sadly no place for eye-candy, Josh Navidi.)Followed by lovely walk on the beach with Janet. George spent the entire time trying to hump Rolo, her grand-dog. Freezing walk back as walking into very cold wind and dressed inappropriately. Went to vote and panicked. As well as two votes for Senedd (Welsh assembly) members was given voting slip for a Police Commissioner post. Hadn't researched or thought about this so planned not to vote but then couldn't work out what to do with my voting slip. Should I return it unused, spoil it, tear it up, or take it home with me? Suspected some of these options might be illegal so panicked and opted for two at random. (Obviously not Tory.)
Friday: Another lovely walk, this time with Tamsin, to the pier, stopping on way back for rather large ice cream from Verdi's. Haven't laughed so much or so loudly for a long time. We share neuroses.
Currently waiting for yeast to start working before I make dough for pizza.
So, an unusually busy but very enjoyable week.

Old George still trying to hump other doggies? An inspiration to us all, truly.
Of course he's not entirely sure what's he doing so he often gets the wrong end or just waggles around in mid-air. I'm going to stop now before I dig a bigger hole!
Busy is good! Especially when it involves grandchildren.
You have had a busy week! Well done for not voting Tory, even if the bulk of the population did.
I've never been in the presence of a pogo stick and would not dare to get on one if I were. You are brave.
Love,
Janie
Busy with grandchildren is the best, Marie!
Joe, I am just - I can't think of a word to express the disbelief that people still vote Tory.
I bet you'd have a go if the chance arose, Janie!
Yes - a busy week but didn't sound like an exhausting week. Busy is good!
