Welcome back, Liz! We missed you! Sounds like you had a wonderful time--hope you'll post some of the pictures of the wildlife you saw. And I'm glad George had a good time while you were away, too. I bet he'll slim down in no time with a little more exercise. Of course, if he put on too much weight, he may not be able to make it over the fence anymore:)
When you told me you were staying at the Pan Pacific, I was totally jealous! It IS a posh place but I've never stayed there. Of course, why would I?
I love that photo of you with the mountains behind. In the winter, on a cold sunny day those mountains are covered in snow halfway down. I'm glad it only goes halfway down because that means we don't get snow here and I can just admire the mountains from afar.
Perhaps they change the rug so that you can keep track of the days. Retirement being something akin to a permanent vacation, I never know what day it is.
You're back, your're back!!! Welcome home. You were missed. Hope you had a great time, it went so quickly (!) A new rug every day?!!wow that is posh! Hi George, keep digging!
So pleased that you are all safely home again. My brother-in-law and family have just returned from Vancouver and it was lovely seeing the same view in your pic as in some of theirs.
George must be over the moon because he didn't know if you had left him forever did he!

When I saw six posts in my bloglines feed, I thought she's back home now.
Sure enough. Great view there and it is a great hotel.
