For my Beatles song this week I have to cheat just a little. Well, it's not really cheating as this was released in the US on Past Masters, Volume One, Something New. The title? Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand. Any guesses what that means?
To see the answer, run your mouse over the beginning of the line below.
I Want to Hold Your Hand of course!

In answer to Aileni's query, I would imagine it comes form the Hamburg days, yes. And, interestingly, the German translators are credited as co-authors of this version.

Yeh, yeh, yeh...
Is this from the Hamburg days?
That's not cheating, just stretching a bit. Nothing in the rules says we have to post in English! I think you've been very Klever!
Guess what I have humming in my head now? lol I remember that song from waaaaay back in high school. Great choice.
quite enjoying these.
"I Wanna Hold your Hand" ?
Using Beatles songs are never cheating, just inspired.
I've got that song on my iTunes! I'm humming now, so off I got to listen!

Awwwwwwwwwww, I don't know what it means, but I LOVE the picture. Those hands are very beautiful!
Ich spreche nur ein bisschen Deutsch: "Come give me your hand"....better known as "I Want to Hold Your Hand." Ah, such memories...watching the Beatles sing this on The Ed Sullivan Show. Sitting on the stairs with my best friends listening to the song on the radio...being a crazy, starstruck teenager all over again. Thanks for the memories, Liz!
"Viens me donner la main", in French
Of course, I remember the song "I want to hold your hand"
French translation "laisse-moi tenir ta main"
A picture full of ...kindness !
