It's all gone tits up

It's breast cancer awareness month in Mumbles - and I guess everywhere else!

Even the postbox topper combines Halloween and breasts! I can't decide if that's a pink ghost or a condom.

Meanwhile Syd continues to love everyone making walks very slow. His favourite postman gave him a big dog treat while we were out yesterday so we had to stop until he'd finished eating it. Then he saw someone he'd met the previous day getting him very excited.

In between Syd duties I am preparing to 'preach' on the first Sunday in November. My topic is the ten commandments. It's amazing how many I've broken! Also continuing to work on the writers' anthology, and do trustee stuff.

After a rainy morning yesterday today is looking lovely and sunny again. Daughter is bringing Louie around to meet and walk with Syd. I shall report back.

There is a vlogger on YouTube that goes by Blk SHP who talked about the third commandment, not taking the Lord's name in vain. His thesis is that it isn't referring to just using the Lord's name as an exclamative or swear word. But rather as Taking the name of the Lord, as one of His children and then living a life that dishonors Him. What are your thoughts on it?

yes, breast cancer awareness month here too but I haven't really seen too much advertising about it. I did go buy stamps the other day and they offered stamps that supported that cause, for an extra cost of course.

I think in your sermon you should ITEMIZE exactly how you've broke the Big Ten!

I did in my first draft but then thought better of it!

I think that sounds very sensible, Lisa. I don't use God's name as a swear word but it is just a word. The way we live our lives is much more relevant.

I think our bridge will be lit for the cancer awareness month. I should try to get a photo although I probably have some from times past.

Coincidentally, I have an appointment for a mammogram this week.
