What made me think that planting bulbs, with Syd in the garden, would be easy? If he wasn't digging up the bulbs he was trying to eat the fertiliser.
Small brown puppy + large garden = "Syd, where are yo...? Oh, there you are, standing next to me."

I had an an optician's appointment on Saturday. I've been getting white flashes (as opposed to hot flushes). The scans were okay and the optician couldn't see any problems in my eyes but he asked me to come back for another appointment so I could have my eyes dilated so they could get a fuller view. He couldn't do it then as I'd driven there and the drops would have prevented me driving home. So I made an appointment for Wednesday morning when Husband could drive me.
This morning Husband had a phone call from the hospital saying they'd had a cancellation and would he be able to come in for a cataract assessment appointment on . . . Wednesday morning. Of course he will need me to drive.
Much harder to get a hospital appointment than an optician's so I've changed my to next Monday.

Syd is clearly a keen gardener, just not quite on the same page as you yet! And I loved 'white flashes as opposed to hot flushes'. Good luck with both appointments, and kind of you to let Husband go first.
Puppies have such BOUNDLESS energy!
Of COURSE the offer to reschedule Husband's appointment was at the same time as yours!
I've driven home after dilation, after waiting a while at the doctor's office. No choice usually.
I hope both parties' appointments work out well.
Are these like lightning flashes? They passed for me, but occasionally odd things happen like a shimmering. They haven't happened recently, thank goodness, but they unnerve me.
Now that I've seen two Syd videos I'm addicted and MUST have a Syd video every day going forward. I'm allowed to drive after my eyes are dilated by wearing sunglasses. Maybe my optometrist hopes I'll run into something she can read about in the newspaper the next day.
Love,
Janie
Syd sure is a cutie. He's just full of energy.
They never give me advance warning about dilating my eyes. I just make sure I have the sunglasses with me for the drive home
Interesting that most people can drive after dilation. Maybe he saw me parking and thought it wouldn't be a good idea to make me any worse.
