First thing to do - after putting the washing on - was go to the library. I was right out of books.
Imagine my delight to find they've started a jigsaw corner. Not to borrow but to do. Boud has written before about her library having a jigsaw set up for people to add pieces to, and I'd thought what a great idea, and even planned to suggest it here. I never got round to it but it seems someone else has.
As a result I spent a lot longer there than I had planned. They just need to get a library dog and I shall move in. I used to dream about that when I was a little girl living up the road, even planning which room would be my bedroom.* * * * *
It seems the garden has survived our holiday, in fact, it might even have flourished in my absence. And look what I dug up this afternoon.
My first attempt that came about after having old eyed potatoes in the pantry. Probably about 2:1 ratio, new to old, so not brilliant but I'm delighted.

It looks as though you should neglect your garden more often. Lovely harvest.
Your potatoes did much better than mine this year.
