Honey, honeysuckle, I'll be the bee

Walk with Husband, Daughter and two dogs followed by an hour and a half in the garden this afternoon.

Did a bit of weeding and pottering and then decided to go back into the bushes.

My theory that if I cut the stalks low down what was above would fall doesn't seem to be working, mainly because everything is held up something else, mostly honeysuckle.

We planted honeysuckle near where we barbecue and eat because I loved the smell. It took over and didn't produce a single bloom until now. When I'm cutting it down. And I've lost my sense of smell.

Bye bye honeysuckle. You didn't earn your keep!
