The church in general has made plenty of mistakes, and has many reasons to apologise, but apologise for speaking the words of Jesus? I don't think so.
What a hero Bishop Budde is. To stand in front of the newly elected puppet and ask for mercy for the vulnerable. Knowing full well, I imagine, that she would face all sorts of threats, disownings, and challenges as a result.

As I mentioned I'm adding chia seeds to my weetabix in the morning. They're fine except for the frog spawn I find in my mouth for some time afterwards.
I asked for a back scratcher for Christmas. I received four. They're wonderful; I have one in each room that I spend time in so there is always one to hand. Even more wonderful now GrandDaughter2 has shown me that they are extendable.

I though Bishop Budde spoke well. It's a apity the only one in Trump's party taking notice was Mrs Vance.. Melania looked positively venomous.

Every now and then a voice is raised against the Mendacious Mobster of Mara Laga. Of course, it was just a request that he show common decency, but that is beyond what the maga cult can deal with.
There is a meme floating around the internet that states that obviously the "Christians" and I use that term loosely, certainly do not follow the words of their Biblical leader, and I find that to be infuriating beyond words. Oh, yes, and my back scratcher is one of my favorite possessions. Nothing like a good hard scrubby back scratch to start the day. Gets the blood going.
