I don't get bad backs. I am fit and healthy. I object to getting a bad back.
Sitting doesn't help so I dragged Husband out for a short walk. It's the first time we've walked anywhere together without a dog for, well, years. It felt odd. Even odder was the number of people we saw out without dogs. "People walk without dogs?" I said.
"Covid," Husband said. "In lockdown people began walking more."

Elder Son has suggested going to Verdi's later. Ice cream is a well-known remedy for bad backs. I will be happy again at least for a while.
Now I'm going to watch a little television with an ice pack. Not as cosy as a hot-water bottle but maybe more useful.

Ibuprofen, which you're already taking, reduces inflammation, and paracetamol deals with the pain. Two of each every four to six hours should help.
Oh right, thank you. I haven't been taking both.
Yea verily, ice cream is a miracle drug.
Ice cream, taken internally, helps a lot. I know that indignation well! I'm not supposed to get this, somebody else was!
I found that exercises work best to get rid of backaches but I have the hardest time getting myself to do them.
Jabblog I am allergic to Ibuprofen. Any alternative suggestion?
Yes, some of us do walk without dogs, but there are a lot of dog walkers, let me tell ya.
Back troubles = no fun. We all scream for ice cream.
I broke my back in 5 places in 2009, which left with back problems. I didn't know ice cream is a miracle cure. I'll start keeping some around the house now and there's also a place with wonderful ice cream very close by because I'm sure a variety of flavo0ors will do even more to help my back.
Love,
Janie
