Happy Chinese New Year!

On the BBC website they asked, "Which Chinese zodiac animal are you?" Of course I had to check their chart and I discovered I am a Dragon. This is what it said. (It was in the children's section so it mentions 2012 as the most recent date.)

I have often thought that my mother lied about my birthday because I'm a Scorpio, and I've never found a Scorpio description that sounds like me! Now I think she must have lied about the year as well! It's all been a huge conspiracy to make me think I'm older than I am. (Of course.) If anything I'm more like The Dog, which would make me seven years younger than I am. Which means I'm a mere child still.

Happy Chinese New Year to you - year of the Dragon, of which I am also, according to the Chinese. I recall it being noted that the Dragon is the only creature on the Chinese zodiac that isn't "real". What's THAT say about us?

I'm also a Scorpio according to the "other" zodiac.

Are you and I living parallel lives??

Happy year of the Dragon to a dragon! I'm an earth tiger and a sag, all pretty accurate.

I don't think there's anything wrong with choosing the date and the year you were born. Seven years younger? Go for it.

Love,
