"That's because it's Monday."

The good thing - the only good thing - about going to the gym is I get to watch morning television. This morning they were discussing this year's must-have gizmos, which included a smart ring. Does everything a smartphone does including pay for things. You just flap your hand over the machine and money is out of your account before you can say, "Hey presto".
Also on television they chatted to the winner of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. I'd never even heard of the man but he did seem lovely. There was a huge fuss before this series started because Nigel Farage (boo hiss) one time leader of right-wing UKIP, pro-Brexiteer, and example of everything that is wrong with this country, was being paid £1.5m to go on the show. Twitter was awash with people saying they would boycott the show. Trouble is a) my twitter feed is made up of people like me; and b) people like me don't watch IACGMOOH anyway. So I don't think viewing figures were down significantly. I did notice, again thanks to breakfast tv in the gym, that very little coverage was being given to Farage.
Did a bit of writing and then went back to packing this afternoon. I need my reading glasses for packing and my long glasses for watching television, so I did neither very well. Predictable but entertaining film called - I have no idea but it starred Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler.
And not being able to remember the title reminds me of what I was trying to remember when on the treadmill.
"Where is that from?" I asked.
"Miranda."
"No, that's 'such fun'. This is 'such fun we do have.' Where is it from?"
I can hear it but can't place it. Was it in a children's book? I did wonder if the Siamese cats in Lady and the Tramp said it, but I don't think they did. It is so frustrating when it comes within reach and then slips away again.

I Googled "such fun we do have." Nothing popped up so I'm as clueless as you are about the phrase and it doesn't ring a bell for me, and I don't know what the movie was either. I hope you have your glasses, both pairs.
Love,
Janie
Maybe someone will show up with the answer. I don't know Miranda either! Useless around here, me.
Sorry, can't help with that mysterious phrase!
Can't say that I've ever heard the phrase before.
