I took all the toys and the painting to charity shops and came home with a skirt for GrandDaughter3, two books and four jigsaws. Altogether they cost less than one new jigsaw. Feeding my addiction is cheap at least.
Went to M&S on the same trip and bought a ready meal for dinner and lots of crisps and nuts: we have a long rugby afternoon ahead of us. Wales against Georgia, England versus Samoa, and then Scotland take on Ireland. Whatever happens, Wales already has a place in the quarter-finals; today's result may leave them as winners of the pool or in second place, which in turn determines their next opponent. Wales and England should both win but until the final whistle goes a Welsh rugby fan can never relax.
Doubt battles for headspace with the "We can win the World Cup!" foolishness.

A few weeks ago I received my regular bowel screening kit. After leaving it on the windowsill for days I finally did the required and sent it on Monday. Today I received another testing kit as they could not test my previous sample as it was more than 24 days old. It wasn't. I must have written the wrong date on it.
I'm not surprised; I seemed to make a mess of the whole process. At one point I even dropped part of the kit into the toilet bowl.
Now the kit will sit on the table for another few weeks. I don't know about you but I don't always know what I'm going to do when I visit the lavatory. I suppose I should leave the kit there just in case it's appropriate.
And on that 'too much information' note I'll leave you.

One of those bowel testing kits saved my life. It detected an issue that turned out to be a developing bowel obstruction, which was removed before it became fatal.
That's great to hear, Debra.
Liz, Just do it. Believe me.
I got one of those test kits and after reading all the directions it sat until it expired.
I love going to the thrift shops but limit how many times I do as I would bring home m8re than I donated

A long time ago, one of my early posts was about doing this procedure.
I leave the kit right where I can't miss seeing it. I'm very good about taking care of it, but last year my records insisted they never received it in the mail. After all that, I ask you!
