Quality not quantity

Prayers were answered and the rain held off until we'd finished! At least we'd finished the churchy bit and as there were only seven of us plus the dog we decided to postpone the barbecue.

Quality not quantity is what counts and we had plenty of that, including Dave and Meryl who'd just come back from helping in refugee camps in Palestine, and Kathryn, an archaeological PhD student who is still in the recovery process after have a stroke just over a year ago. She told us a bit about the parts of her brain that still don't work, what she struggles with, and how thankful she is to God for the little things that help her.

Even with a brain that doesn't properly work yet Kathryn was still able to take the selfie unlike me who couldn't work out how to do it.

The churchy bit! Nobody could accuse you of too much reverence! Glad your photographer is recovering.

Sounds like a good group! Glad you didn't get rained out.

Glad the rain held off. I think that's a nice size group. Not too small and not too big.
