Just back from Zac's having volunteered to cook chicken curry as well as chilli when I'm in on a Wednesday.
Now a sensible person would have taken it slowly, found out what it entailed and worked her way into it.
I, on the other hand, decided I could do them both at once.
I don't think I mixed up ingredients though I did end up with a surprisingly large number of pans to wash. I say 'surprisingly' because I thought re-using the same pans would mean less washing up. Not sure where I went wrong.
Also got into a tiff with the cooler. After speaking nicely to it and trying pressing any numbers of buttons, and yes, switching it off and on again, I called it a stupid thing.
It took offence and went blank.
I left it to calm down, telling it it should think carefully about its behaviour.
When I went back up it had decided to co-operate and work properly.
Waiting for Husband to pick me up afterwards I leaned against a lamppost and was reminded of George Formby.

That's a blast from the past!
Glad the cooler listened to your scolding!
I had not known of Formby before your video! Thank you! When I first say the title of your post, I was imaging you writing about being “tipsy” as that is a euphemism “leaning on a lamppost” that I have used to indicate someone who has been imbibibing…. including myself on occasion (hic) ! 🙂

“Say” should have been “saw” in the above, of course.
