Though I will always regret the fact that they have moved to Italy I have to admit that Italy does get good weather.
The journey there through France was accompanied by pretty dire weather. This is what it looked like, with a temperature of 9 degrees, as we approached the tunnel through the Alps.
And on the other side, 20 degrees and sunshine.Interestingly enough it was the other way round on the return journey with us leaving Italy on its first wet day - and they really need the rain. It's been an unusually warm and dry winter.Younger Son, Nuora and the children live in a very lovely and peaceful area.
That's their house and woodlands, and we stayed in a chalet, owned by YS's father-in-law, just up from the house. So many photos to share and things to say it will take several posts but I'll just mention that, last night as we watched a little television before an early night after two long days of travelling, Mr Fox peered in through our window to check if we were home before taking a drink from our pool.
