Food obviously is a big part of a holiday! I didn't get as many ice creams as usual (if I were an emoji person I would put a very sad face here) but made up for it with lots of cheese and other goodies.
One day we went for a set meal. Everyone turns up at roughly the same time and gets the same food.
By common consent the polenta (centre left) was least liked. The nettle cake (bottom left) was surprisingly good. The risotto was my favourite. I have a feeling I have left out a starter and I didn't get photos of the two desserts either. My only complaint is the lack of a bit of a broccoli or something green. Italians don't seem to do a lot of green vegetables! (Then again my children laugh at me because when we have curry I insist on doing broccoli with it.)
One morning we went for breakfast in a local café.
I thought I was being decadent having a croissant with fruit and custard but it turned out that both Nuora's chocolate croissant and Husband's chocolate and nut coated croissant had big dollops of chocolatey custard inside. (Poor Younger Son is gluten-intolerant.)

On our last evening Younger Son made us pizzas.
And in case you're worrying I did get some ice cream.

The photos you did post are great though. Lovely food!
Everything looks so good! Is that an outdoor pizza oven that your son has? Yum! When I was in Italy, I got hooked on their delicious breakfast pastries, which often featured nutella. They're addictive!
