I've mentioned before that we're currently meeting for bible study not in the Zac's building but in St. Mary's Anglican Church, a cavernous great place that allows those who want to be to be a bit more spaced out. Which is fine except . . . I struggle to hear anything that is said.
There are only so many times you can say, "I'm old and deaf, speak up, please!"
I'd like to say it's the first of my faculties to be lost but then I wouldn't be including my eyesight or my sense of smell. Not to mention my drooped bottom. The fact that I managed to tie my coat to my chair last night - just as Sean was standing next to me - should not be taken as an indication of anything, though as Sean said, "Only you could have done that."
I take that as a compliment.
Now you remember that talk I was supposed to be writing yesterday? I'm going to start on it now.

Maybe the concept of tying your coat to your chair might feature in the talk?
I'm sure your talk will knock their socks off! Unless you tie those on too.
My eyesight was the first to go, but now I realise I'm saying pardon a great deal too. And now I have to prepare myself for a saggy bottom? Great. Sigh.
