The need to wear glasses is of great benefit when cleaning. As long as you don't wear them that is.
With my slightly blurry vision everything looks fine. Fortunately Husband's eyes are even worse than mine.
Can you tell I'm having a cleaning day? Well, not day but half morning. I don't want to overdo it. I do end the day in a much happier mood if I am productive and have something to show for it though. That should be a good incentive to get up every day and buzz through it. Sadly I am, at heart, a blob who would enjoy nothing more than sitting on the sofa, reading and eating chocolate.
It's a constant fight, which Inner Blob usually wins. That said, I don't actually do much blobbing as described above. Rather I sit and stare at the computer, playing solitaire, while the internal war wages.
But it's a beautiful day here on the edge of Gower, and there's lots for which to be thankful.
For anyone who follows the British news I will just say: in days of yore knights had to fight dragons and rescue damsels in distress. These days it seems it's not what you do but what you know that gets you knighted.

I feel the same way you do about cleaning! As long as there's no clutter I can ignore just about everything else.
Knowing where the secrets are is very useful. The latest honor shows that. Favors being exchanged.
I hate housework too. Why can't houses be self-cleaning, like cats?
I'm always shocked how much dirtier everything looks when I put my reading glasses on, but even more depressing than that is how much older I look too.
Hah! I like the cleaning statement! For me, when I go sans glasses, the world appears as an abstract collage of colors, no form.

Sitting down and work are my favourite hobbies. I can sit and watch others work all day.
God bless.
