In March 2020 I took your advice, dear readers, and agreed that Husband could decorate the hall if he really wanted to. (As opposed to getting a man in to do it.)
Today I'm delighted to present the almost-finished hall.
Husband finally hung the curtains today - you can just see the bottom of one - and now we just need to put a few photos and it will be done.
I'm not saying anything.

I like the wall colors and parquet flooring. Personally I'd have a bunch of stuff on the walls (not just pictures), but that's just me.
