A really good morning

Isn't it wonderful when things work out as planned?

Just simple things this morning: go to chemist for Husband, drop batteries off at Co-op, take stuff to charity shop, pick up food from Diner and take to Zac's.

It was easy-ish to park, no queues, timing was perfect, and one of the women waiting for a free meal said, 'You're an angel. Thank you for everything you do.' (On reflection I think she thought I'd cooked the huge trays of corned beef pie myself instead of just collecting them, but it was so lovely to be thanked like that anyway.)

Feeling good. Now just having a cup of tea before walking George.

And now, for no particular reason, here's a photo of one of the sand sculptures from the festival in Weston-Super-Mare in 2019.

Postscript

It turned out to be a very short walk as George was limping quite badly. There's nothing obvious wrong with his paw so we'll let him rest and see how it goes.

Poor George! Hope he bounces back and is ready for more walks soon.
