We didn't stay up last night. I would have but Husband isn't keen, although I might as well have done as I was woken by the fireworks at midnight anyway. And it had taken me a long time to get to sleep.
And in that time I'd been thinking, 'I don't want to die.'
Just in case anyone is thinking of murdering me that is. I was looking at my wrinkled age-spotted hands and feeling old. I think that was what led to my deathly ponderings.
Anyway, new year, new start, and it was back to exercising with Joe Wicks on YouTube this morning. Now I'm showered and dressed and it's only 10.30, which is early for me at the moment. And I feel like getting on with things, getting back to some stuff, starting other. Such as this jigsaw:
So it's up and at 'em, lads and lasses, and try not to think too much about the fact that we are no longer part of Europe. Pah, Brexit!

A Happy New Year back to you! I recently saw a jigsaw puzzle and on the box, it said - "no picture and 5 extra pieces" - I suspect that one would be hard. Best response to the "who is that old woman in the mirror" -- "No idea but it's not me" and have fun!
Marie, CopCar, very sad about Brexit. My view is emotional more than rational although I fear we are going to suffer for some time.

A neighbour gave me two this week ... one a 500 piece delight of autumn leaves, which will drive me to drink and the other of a very grey church in a very grey chuchyard and I must either finish them both or avoid the neighbour for ever more!
My Wrinkled Age Spotted Hands make me sometimes feel Old too... but a quick glance in the Mirror and I feel so Youthful... Bwahahahaha! If only... I rather like the look of myself right now in my Mask that has a Scarf section with a Young Sexy faux Neck, does Wonders.
