Where to eat Christmas lunch.
Husband favours the dining room.
My choice is the kitchen.Could be it'll be on trays. Our house doesn't usually look like *Steptoe's front room - not quite as bad anyway - but decorating takes its toll. With everything moved out of the hall plus the decorating paraphernalia, there's no space to shake George's tail let alone a cat.
Never mind, we still have tomorrow ...
*Steptoe and Son was a programme about a rag and bone business.

I vote for trays!
I bet “Steptoe & Son” May have been the inspiration for the American comedy tv show “Sanford & Son”. I will investigate!

Hah! I was correct! The name and the program’s premise sounded too similar! We in the U.S. seem to take a variety of British shows and redo them in a way for the U.S. market. “Steptoe & Son” appears to have ran from 1962-1974. “Sandford & Son” ran from about 1972 - 1979.
I would love to watch “Steptoe & Son”. I wish there was a way to have it here, but that is a conundrum for so many great British shows!!!

Picnic-style - on the floor.
That's what our house looks like - not decorating - son and daughter home. At least it stops us from being able to do any cleaning.
Trays around the tree??? That might work.
I vote for dining room. Wherever you eat I hope you enjoy and have a very happy day.
My older daughter's bedroom looks like that all the time.
Steptoe & Son was a classic. Now I'm showing my age.
I think kitchen. Less things to move for you to be able to enjoy a relaxing dinner in a lovely setting :-)
Whichever option you choose, enjoy your day :-)
Having had a new bed and bedroom furniture just over a week ago I am surrounded by clutter. I have to find new places for my clothes and the new furniture is not big enough!
Wherever you can clear a space. This year, everyone's house looks like this. We all know no one's likely to pop in so any tidying up can be left till later... much later.
Just because its Xmas and you vaguely remember a manger, doesn't mean you should blog in french ☺
