Not including George in case you're worried.
I phoned the shop yesterday to find out if they were open for donations. The woman said, 'Yes, but we're closed for today as our quarantine area is full. Open again tomorrow at 11 and first come first served.'
I arrived there at 11 with a boot full of books, CDs and DVDs, to find a queue already.
Fortunately they had plenty of quarantine containers so I was able to unload before I could rethink any of my getting-rid-of decisions.
Do you remember when it used to be called jumble? When never a Saturday afternoon passed without a jumble sale in the local hall?
I suppose we still have car boot sales where, apparently, people are willing to buy all sorts of rubbish. But even car boots aren't as good as they used to be now so many people are doing it semi-professionally. Back in the good old days, oh yes.

The places here to donate items are full but yard sales have started again. It’s a lot of work to prepare for one of those however.
Now that my CD/DVD purge and rearrangement is complete, I dropped off a couple of bags of donatables (is that a word?) to a local thrift shop today as well. What a big job that was! I'm glad it's done.
I hope they start having jumble sales again soon. I enjoy them. Socially distanced they are NOT, however. I hope people don't lose the habit.
