George's new game

I had intended to write a post about how George keeps following me everywhere and I worry about him because I never sit still for long so he's up and down steps all the time and he gets tired and hot and I feel guilty but since then this has happened.
It's his favourite game. Bark at the ball until it comes back or - and much more likely - Mum gets fed up of the barking and fishes it out. After which he takes it and sits and chews it for a while before dropping it in the pool again. And again.

I have now written to the Prime Minister, and copied my letter to the Conservative Party, my local MP (Labour), and Keir Starmer (leader of the Labour Party).

I will, no doubt, get a standard reply but at least I've said something.

Good for you and George, both barking at what's wrong in the world!

I think George is training you rather well, cute video of him barking. I too express my opinions to our politicians, mostly by giving money to the political groups I am a member of.

Cute game! It is nice you have a pool! Especially now with Covid-19. We do not have a pool and have liked our community pool (happens to be indoor so it allows year-round swimming). I have been missing it greatly, and now especially with hot weather.

Go George, that did make me smile. Rufus loves his squeaky toys, he loves chasing them but hasn't got the hang of letting go so that we can throw it again! I voted for Boris thinking he would just get Brexit done, then came covid and Cummings who has to be one of the most odious toads ever. I might be wrong but I think Boris wants to please everyone. I hope he comes through for us.

I recently received a personal reply to a concern I expressed to an elected official here.

Well if George drops it in the pool it's a little easier to fish it out with the net. My puppy would toss his ball/toy under a buffet which required I get the broom, flashlight, and down on my belly to fish it out!
