A pink flush

When I found out that Clyne Gardens was open* I suggested we walk there yesterday. It's a bit further than George usually manages, or rather a bit steeper - Clyne Gardens are on the side of a steep hill - but we - or rather he - managed it. And I think he enjoyed a few different smells along the way.

The gardens are (relatively) famous for their azalea and rhododendron collection and many of them are in bloom at the moment.

This is a Monterey Cypress and has the largest girth of any tree in Clyne.

These two (above and below) are smelly Arums in the bog garden.

A mass of wild garlic.

Not forgetting the triffids of course.
* There was some confusion at the beginning of lockdown over whether parks were open or closed. I think the Council decided to close them but were inundated with complaints from people wanting their allowed daily exercise. As you can see from the first photo it was quite easy to avoid others.

Just glorious! Nature is doing quite well.

I can imagine George enjoyed new territory to sniff about. Beautiful pup!

Thanks all.

George was quite keen yesterday but he's been all worn out today, Marie.
