The gardens are (relatively) famous for their azalea and rhododendron collection and many of them are in bloom at the moment.

* There was some confusion at the beginning of lockdown over whether parks were open or closed. I think the Council decided to close them but were inundated with complaints from people wanting their allowed daily exercise. As you can see from the first photo it was quite easy to avoid others.
