1. Breathe. That sounds obvious but are you doing it properly? That is, through your nose. Apparently 61% of adults breathe through their mouths too often. Nose breathing is better for you for all sorts of reasons not least the fact that the little hairs inside your nostrils catch all sorts of yucky thing and stop them getting inside you. If you want to know the exact benefits, read NS because they're a bit long-winded to go into here. Humming a little tune is also good for you. Pooh was smarter than we thought.
2. "Sitting for long periods is shockingly bad for you." So even if you're following all the sitting rules - no slouching, crossing of legs - you still should stand up regularly and stretch your legs. Go and make yourself a cup of tea. (Wait, is that bad for you?)
3. Eat. Instead of what most of us do - eat our main large meal in the evening - we should be eating more earlier on, slowly, and regularly.
4.Walk. Briskly for two hours a day is recommended.
Okay, this is getting boring but bear with me, we're just getting onto the fun bit.
5. Poop. Just watch this video, and if you don't want to invest in a potty squatty, check your attic for a toddler toilet step. Alternatively adopt the Thinker pose.
Really just watch this video. It will change the way you view Mr Whippy ice creams.

OH MY GAWD.
Walking briskly for two hours a day would probably make me breathe through my mouth so I might just give it all a miss....
Yes - something I've heard before - putting your feet up on a short bench. However I must say, that vid does sort of put you off soft serve!
