'Do you want them?' I ask Husband.
He sighs. 'I keep thinking I should keep them as they're vintage.'
He keeps me for the same reason.
I'm not at all interested in cars but flicking through old magazines of any kind can show up some fascinating things.
Breath tests were about to be introduced in 1967 as was the first 60 mph speed limit.
None of the full colour throughout that you get in today's magazines you notice. Not even for these new models to be seen at the Earl's Court Motor Show in 1967.
Husband doesn't have the enthusiasm to try and sell this rare priceless collection on ebay so they may be going to a charity shop. Or just staying in our attic.
But they're definitely moving out of the spare room because we need to convert it into the guest room so our current guest room can become the children's room so the children's room can become Husband's office so I can get my dining room back - which is the thing I most want to do!

I am but it's been so long, Debra. And it depends on others moving their stuff. Keep my eyes on the prize, hold on.
Ah, yes, I agree. That is one thing upon which I've insisted - that Hunky Husband (and I) not make a habit of using the dining room table as a desk. On rare occasion, when one of us is preparing to teach a course, we do spread out on the dining room table; but, that usually takes place on a fold-out table in the basement. Good luck!
I recall that when I was drawing up plans for this house, a co-worker chided me for planning a room whose sole purpose was to house our dining table. Yes! That fakes the really rare visitor into thinking the house is clean when they come into the front hallway from which they may view the dining room. That room is kept spotless and the table that is kept bare. We eat there, only, when members of our family come to a meal - about twice per year.

The adverts are hilarious especially in a motoring mag, Sonata. Very non-pc.
