Overdoing housework

Feeling brighter today so I said, 'I'll do a bit of housework and then relax.'
Husband said, 'Don't overdo it.'
'Seriously? We've been married for forty years. When have you ever known me to overdo housework?'

I belong to the 'sweep the room with a glance' school of thought.
I have this card on the wall of my study.
It was probably all the rest yesterday plus the bowl of cawl and dumplings that did the trick.
But now I'm ready to relax again. I mean, I need to rest now. Some more Grey's Anatomy I think, in the hope it's less traumatic than yesterday's episodes. How much can one woman, Meredith Grey, withstand? The psychologist is right to doubt her assertion that she's fine.

mmm that looks tasty. Love the card, that's my kind of housework. Grey's Anatomy, it's the second best programme ever made, ER is first :-) I have watched them both loads of times and never tire of them.

I never saw ER, Polly. Was that where George Clooney began? What about House and West Wing?
