Are you here by accident?

Why, I wonder, do so few people comment on my blog?

Should I make it more controversial? But that wouldn't be me.
Should I make it more interesting? But that wouldn't be me either!

It seems from my stats that a goodly number of people visit each day but very few - and only ever regulars - comment. Perhaps everyone else just falls in by accident, looking for something else.

'Tis a mystery.

Same applies to me, 400+ users daily, but less than 10 comment on a regular basis, irregularly.

BTW, we enjoyed Snowdonia on the way back from Ireland :-)

Glad you enjoyed North Wales. It's very beautiful.

Hi Liz, I am one of the regulars who loves to pop
by and read you. I have been visiting for many years,
long before your grand-children arrived. Your adventures
with George are legendary in our house. I am guilty of
not commenting for various reasons but rest assured that
your blog is never boring. Best wishes to you.

I'm also a regular reader, right from the Harvey days and I love reading. I don't comment because I don't blog myself anymore and it seems a bit one-sided to write here when you know nothing about me.

I really do enjoy your doggy adventures (I also have a dog with a "huge personality" and we have similar conversations) and your ruminations about all kinds of things. You have a way of making the mundane sound interesting and it's like dropping in for a cuppa with a friend. I really hope you continue to write.

Thank you, Wendy and Marie, it's lovely to hear from you - and such encouraging and lovely words! I am grateful! x

I read your blog quite often but I think Face Book has overtaken blogging,
Linking up from FB to your blog is a good idea. I too love your blog, most amusing and interesting.
As you probably know I post on my blog site every week via the ABC Wednesday site, first created by Denise Nesbitt (Mrs Nesbitt's site). As I have a rather sedentary life style re health reasons, I can't write about daily doings and outings but can write about any subject I wish depending upon the chosen weekly letter.
Now, as I have a lifetime of many experiences, some good, some bad, I'm never short of something to write about.
Also, I've made many friends from all over the world, this lends to some interesting reading!
Love Di xx

I agree with Trubes--Facebook is the IN place to make comments lately. I visit far fewer blogs than I used to, and then only sporadically. Could be because I haven't had internet hooked up at home for about a year. I connect in my office at the church and during the summer I am not regularly there(used to do so in doctor's offices while waiting for husband).

I do post on the blog once a week in a header challenge and for the most part any more the only comments I get are from the other challenge members--and you--if I visit and comment on yours. Far cry from the days when forty or fifty comments was pretty much an average.

Good thing we don't depend on the blogs for our livelihood.
