I can't help myself sometimes--I've pointed out grammar mistakes on signs in shops before. I don't think the manager appreciated it:) But really, shouldn't a business check out "you're" and "your" or "its" and "it's" before having a sign printed up for everyone to see?

Yes, and those Rose has mentioned are probably the most common. An apostrophe is not needed EVERY time you add an s.
