Another flying visit to Devon

We took the dogs for a walk along the bank of the Grand Western Canal at Tiverton. We timed our arrival perfectly to catch this lovely horse setting off ...pulling this canal boat laden with tourists.
Then, after we'd used up lots of calories, we stopped at the little tea shop, which was very tea-themed.

Just for tourists, of course. All the boats up this way use engines.

Beautiful!! I am wondering now, how do they protect the teapots from the elements? I guess they have a cover that they fix over them each night, or when the rain is torrential, or the wind too wild!

That is a rather large teapot. Someone could knit a teacosy for it to protect it from the weather.

What a delightful photo of the three generations.

Me too, gledwood.

Thanks, welshcakes, cherrypie and jams.

Are you disappointed with life, james?

I wondered that too, jay. There were little catches around the edge so I guess they have a wooden cover.

Thanks, puss.
