Bed arguments

We really should get a new bed.

The trouble is that, despite this hole in the mattress, it's still comfy.

The other problem is that we are arguing over a new bed: I want a king-size one.

When Husband worked away so much I got used to and enjoyed having lots of space to myself. Now I get edgy if I feel crowded. And I wriggle even more than usual. And I worry about waking up Husband. And the more I worry the more I become aware of wriggling which in turn increases my need to wriggle.

So really a bigger bed is the ideal solution but Husband says it wouldn't fit in the bedroom. I think we could make it. We could get rid of his bedside table, for example ...

Time for new mattress definitely.. Oh I would try my hardest to get a Kingsize bed in.. I would not like to go back to a double bed..

I never worry about waking my husband up.. he has most probably kept me awake most of the night with his snoring!!

Oh my gosh! I think a King bed would be ideal...I'd love one, too, as I got used to having a Queen all to myself. Now it seems a tad crowded.

On the one hand beds are a waste of space in the bedroom ~ think of all that useful space they take up!

On the other, what else are bedrooms for, except going to bed? (Notice I don't say sleeping, haha!)...

There was a talk on the radio the other day about utterly bare, spartan 1950s bedrooms compared to the modern bursting with broadband, satellite TV connexions, mobile phone chargers etc etc and how poor sleep results from this ... and everyone reminisced about the boring old 50s bedroom and how you at least got an amazing night's sleep in there

Doesn't George sleep in your bed, too? Lots of couples fall out about their dogs. I know one couple who share a single bed with a pitbull-mastiff cross... well it sounds "interesting" ;-)...

If he doesn't agree to your plans he could always sleep on the settee ;-)
