There is a line

Husband is taking this retirement lark seriously and has joined the central library, mainly for the cds. He came home today with Best of Erasure.

Erasure?

Gin and tonic plus Erasure?

I am worrying about my husband.

What is that? Some British series? Is he finished his job already?

Mid- life crisis, don't worry unless of course he starts to dress like it's the 80s, then you'll need a mallet to knock it out of him.
I have several of different weights, just let me know how heavy you want one and I will send one to you.
Should do the trick. tee! hee!
I can engrave his name on it for you if you would like!!!!!!

much love
Lia
xx

Ps we also have ear plugs really good ones. Now you could either use these to drown out the music or to drown out the screams when you use the mallet on him.

Hmmm. guess we all handle retirement differently. My husband has assumed care of our yard which entails mowing on a riding lawn mower. I am expected to finish off with the flower bit, which never happens. Then he hired a housekeeper because I can't keep up inside. NOW I LOVE THAT decision, but feel guilty about not living up to my responsibilitiesi'''not crippling guilt however. HA HA

I recommend earplugs for you and choroform for him.

Don't worry, Liz. This is quite normal!

They were a group, leslie. He's not officially finished but has in his head!

And you're keeping that space under your patio for me, aren't you, lia? Just in case of emergencies.

He has two sheds, anne, and a greenhouse and a garage. And they're all full!

I could cope with guilt like that, nitwit.

Although if I use the chloroform, dd, I won't need the earplugs.

I don't know, puss. It was an old Best of cd.

I was afraid of that, calum.
