A silly question

Daughter is a self-employed, award-winning copywriter, working from home. At the moment she's on maternity leave.

Yesterday I got home from walking George and Husband said, 'Daughter phoned.'
'What's the matter? Is Grand-Daughter all right?'
'Nothing's the matter. Daughter has been asked by a regular client if she can do some work and she wanted to know if you could ...'
'Yes!'
'...go down and babysit.'
'Yes, yes, yes.'
'You don't know when she wants you: what about work?'
'Pft, I can sort work out.'

So I'm going down on Monday. To look after Grand-Daughter and HollyDog. Yay!

A silly question indeed!

Enjoy your grand-daughter some more.

What happens to George when you're away? Does he pine for you?

Hahaha! Work? What importance does work have compared to a grand-daughter? LOL!

Have fun!

Not much arm-twisting went on, did it? Enjoy the day with Granddaughter!

Glad to hear your Uncle's doing better, Liz.

LOL. I think it is nice to have the opportunity. Sadly I am 3000 miles away from my granddaughter although I doubt I would have wanted more than the occasional babysitting job.

Of course, i know you don't really want to go, but it's your duty. Right?
