And well done to Sainsburys too!


Not only are all of Sainsbury's bananas fairtrade but now it seems that most of their own-brand filter coffee is too.


Well done, Sainsbury's!!

Fairtrade? What's that mean in this context, Liz? What's it give you?

Fairtrade means the farmers are given a fair price for their goods and a pre-agreed price that isn't lowered if market forces change.

We need that here. Qld is the banana growing state and the poor growers don't get nearly enough. Same with wheat, beef, veges. etc, etc. Sad.
