ABC Wednesday - P

Paperback Writer, released by the Beatles in 1966.
I am a paperback writer - these are titles I've written or Daughter's written or we've written together - but I really want to be a fiction paperback writer. I've had short stories in anthologies but the best-selling novel still eludes me. But one day ...

To take part in ABC Wednesday, visit ABC Wednesday round 3.

I would love to read that book about the cop. I wonder if I can get it over here - will check. Otherwise, I'll buy one when I get over there next.

Well there you go. What a surprise. Makes sense though as you do have a wonderful narrative quality to your blog. So impressed you got the double whammy with The Beatles song too. Excellent post.

I'm impressed, Liz; I didn't know you had some work published! "A Cop for Christ" looks pretty interesting...
Great choice of songs for P and one that fits you so well. Keep on writing...one of these days a publisher may recognize your talent.

Stick at it Liz. It's a hard road.

I am so surprised to hear that you are a writer. I've always thought that your stories were very well written. That explains it all.. You said that blogging took over your time, well I can join you in saying that. It's time consuming, but also educational and interesting.

Perfect Post Liz. I love the way you find the Beatles songs and manage to put a personal slant on them, but this one was obvious for you!

Oh, well done!

I'm in a similar position. I'd love to have fiction published, but so far only non-fiction has been accepted! It's wonderful, but not the same. I've pretty much given up writing non-fiction and I'm trying to concentrate on honing my fiction writing skills.

Keep trying!!
