Lady Madonna, children at your feet
Wonder how you manage to make ends meet
Who find the money when you pay the rent
Did you think that money was heaven sent
Friday night arrives without a suitcase
Sunday morning creeping like a nun
Monday's child has learned to tie his bootlegs
See how they run
Lady Madonna, baby at your breast
Wonders how you manage to feed the rest
Pa pa pa pa...
See how they run
Lady Madonna lying on the bed
Listen to the music playing in your head
Tuesday afternoon is never ending
Wednesday morning papers didn't come
Thursday night you stocking needed mending
See how they run
Lady Madonna, children at your feet
Wonder how you manage to make ends meet
xx

I love that song! Thank you for showing the whole lyrics! It's one of the most beautiful Beatle songs.
Thanks for your visit.
I had guessed this week would be "Let it Be" :)
I gave birth to my daughter (child #3) on Sept. 18, 1981. Who knew--we were probably sleep-deprived at the same time. Lovely photo, Liz; thanks for sharing it with us.
We never thought the Beatles were poets did we! But they were. As for you as a Lady Madonna, you also look very lucky and laughing and lovely! All fine for an 'L' day!
Way to go Liz! I always enjoy seeing how you are going to connect a Beatles tune to the letter. My second son was born on January 16, 1981 on a Friday...
Oh my aren't you just beaming! Love this Liz! :D
Aaah! What a lovely photo! Like the song, too, of course.
Beautiful choice, song and image.
What a great post! I love the Beatles, too!
My L pictures are posted here and here. Hope you can drop by, too! Thanks!
look radiant!
1981.... blimey I met Mrs F in Feb that year, did my A levels... sorry failed my A levels would be more appropriate, formed the best band I was ever in and did some great gigs and started college.
Long long time ago... oh that's a different song
Very fitting - in more ways than one.
We were wondering what song you would pick this week. Great picture.
Great choice of song, I was so sure you were going to choose Let it be.
A very nice photo of you too, you look so very happy. My two were 9 & 6 in 1981. Oh no, I have just started to remember my days as an assistant Cub Scout leader.
My third was born in 1981 - July 31st. You look tired, but so happy!
I love that song.
Ooooo... I adore this song... Yes, now I will have this song humming in my head all day long! =)
Wonderful photo! Great smile, beautiful!
Thanks for coming by mine! Thanks for the prayers.. I really appreciate it!

Good choice for the letter "L"
Wow! 1981 only seems like yesterday!
Oooh! that's a lovely photo :-)
Gosh, that picture takes me back. My first son was born in 1980, and I looked just the same as you: red faced, tired, but happy and triumphant!
No feeling like it, is there?
That's sweet!
L IS FOR LOVABLE, at THE MANE POINT
