Summertime

The sun has been shining since about 1.30 this afternoon; it is now 4.15 pm. It is a momentous event and worth a blog post all of its own.

You're right! How many hours does summertime last?

Is that the smallest post ever?

OMG! You see it too? I just thought I'd lapsed into a hallucinogenic fugue after too much Carte D'Or Crema di Mascarpone. So the sun's real? You sure? Perhaps aliens are interfering with our brainwaves, to make us THINK it's sunny. Pass the tinfoil hat ...

P.S. Ignore me, I'm in a silly mood!

Sunbathed - yes - actually sunbathed in the garden trying to toughen up our skin before our holiday.

Wasn't it glorious?!
It has totally thrown my weekend plans into confusion though! Will it stay nice and make it worth spending the weekend in a field or not?
Any ideas?!!

We have lots of sun, apart from the odd cloudy day...but it's not very warm until summer. Actually, it's starting to warm up now. Today, when I was out and about, I actually felt hot and sweaty...the first time for a couple of months. What joy...I loathe the cold.

I think you must have nodded off for a couple of hours - either that or you've been struck by the lightning we've been getting.

Sunshine? for THAT long? You're either very lucky, or very deluded!! This is Britain, remember!?
