Saturday Photohunt - Wooden
Last year I had the pleasure of making the wedding cake for Elder Son and his bride. The tiers are supported by little wooden sticks that are removed when you cut the cake. Usually. Fortunately it was Husband who got this bit of wooden stick in his cake! And, yes, he did bite it before finding out.
Liz, the cake you made is absolutly beautiful. I am so impressed and so happy your hubby was the one to get the stick instead of a guest from the bride's side :)
That's a beautiful cake. You are very talented. That's clever how it is held up by wood. I bet your husband was surprised when he bit into the wood. Have a great weekend.
Lovely looking cake Liz. No one will have a fruit cake here as a wedding cake and I did so want to make my daughter's, but no go. I hope he didn't break a tooth! Have a great weekend.
Great take on this weeks theme. The cake turned out beautifully. I think husband knows now to check for wooden sticks in his cake. Have a wonderful weekend.
