Congrats to Wales! I love rugby too and watched quite a bit on the Rugby Union! Lived in Scotland for 3 years taught me a lot about the Scots but have very few Welsh friends! Good to meet you on Bloggers Over 50!
Hurray! Wales won! I'm so excited to see you in the street there - I have stood there too!!! ooooo, I certainly AM coming back there! :D and we can post a photo of the two of us there!
I must send you the photo I had taken of me with 2 lovely Welsh "lads" at the castle at St. Fagan's. They were "Jones's" and it's my maiden name, so we all had a good giggle and they both were pleased to have a photo taken.
Amanda, I just wrote you an email with St David's day suggestions but it's beem returned to me! Has you address changed?
A quick run-down: welshcakes, cawl (lamb and leek stew), daffodils, dragons, St David, Welsh songs, famous Welsh people ( a short list!). Email me if you want recipes or more information!
