Helping in the garden

Syd is less of a help and more of a one-dog destruction machine. If anything survives it will be amazing.

* * * * *

Earlier this week someone said, "I thought you were the same age as me."

She was 84.

I know I've been feeling my age of late but 84?

My head is too crowded at the moment so here's some 'mindfulness'.

Incidentally, when it was alleged that Ukraine had destroyed lots of Russian bots my visitor numbers trebled. I'm not sure what that means.

I don't dare hazard a guess out loud as to what someone's age is anymore. Been way off too many times.

I am getting to the point when I won't be bothered too very much by someone thinking I am 84.

We old people age in dog years, while the young people get younger. I was shocked when lovely Andrew who lives next door told me he's 40. I I thought he was about 27. I'm quite certain my primary care physician is 12.

Love,
Janie

I would hate for anyone to guess at my age because I'm sure the number would be much higher than it really is

I've noticed the older ladies at the gym have started striking up conversations with me - like I'm part of their old lady "gang". So be it.
