The Date Flapjack Surprise went down a storm. Everyone loved them. Personally I thought they needed more filling but at least I know now.
So there we are.
The roofers arrived at 7.30 this morning. Then Husband skedaddled off to the gym before I had showered. I am irrationally cross with him for that.
As a result all that was needed was the Mission Impossible music to accompany me.

I would not want to be in the shower with people up on my roof.
Love the follow-up report because this is how I do it as well. I learn from tasting. Not from cooking or baking. I learn from tasting and then adjusting the next go.

I would be a bit uncomfortable showering with someone working on my roof.
Nothing irrational about that. I'd be very irritated if Princess went for a walk by herself when workers come around and left me unprepared.

It's always uncomfortable when you have workmen in.
