Yes, I went to a party last night and was dancing until . . . phew, 9.30. The party was in full swing when I left but I'm still snuffly so thought I'd head home.

It was my second night out on the trot. On Friday evening I delivered several bags of coats to the lady working on the street with 'working girls'. I stayed for an hour or so, longer than I intended, and met some of the women.
Husband meanwhile continues to sit in darkened rooms but his vision is pretty good already.

You really do some great work, fearlessly. Darkened rooms? I don't remember doing that after cataract surgery, just instant regular, well, much improved, vision.
Love those rainbow glasses! And oh yes, I needed darkened rooms too. Even now, nearly 4 months after my surgery, I must wear my Old Man Wraparound Sunglasses if I go out in bright sunlight. I can only leave them at home on cloudy, overcast days.
Cataract surgery seems very variable, some people having blurry vision for a while, others not able to be in bright rooms. See Debra below!
Husband is wearing my sunglasses but complaining because then he can't see the keys to play his game!
Dancing until 9:30 is not something that we would once have noted. 😀

Every person I've talked to who has had cataract surgery has reported different side effects.
Aren't you the wild woman! I haven't been to a party in years and it's been decades since I danced, which is a good thing since the only dances I knew were the hustle and the bump and maybe one or two others done at the disco. All the discos are long gone and my dancing days ended with their closure.
